1. FIND FAMILY
A family is located with the help of the Tok Batin. They are then based on a criteria list to check eligibility.
2. WORKSHOP SESSION
Once eligible, a workshop session is done to formulate both the brief and design. This is done several times with the family till a general agreement is achieved.
3. DETAILED DESIGN
Together with the team, a detailed design is done. At the same time, materials and supplies are procured.
4. RECRUIT PARTICIPANTS
A group of both experienced and new participants are recruited for the build session.
5. BUILD!
Together with the family and different community members, the house is built over the span of 3 days in true EPIC fashion.
6. POST PROJECT ANALYSIS
Once the home is built, a family is revisited after a couple of weeks. This is done to see the satisfaction of the occupants and to learn on improvement points.
