Dear Extraordinary People Impacting Communities

In light of the official announcement of the Control of Restricted Movements, we have decided to take precautionary measures to safeguard the health of you, the Orang Asli community and the nation’s well-being.

With this in mind, we have decided to postpone all builds until May 1st, 2020 as necessary precautions to mitigate and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Subsequently, this will also affect our workshop & training schedules (refer to note below).

Although we are disappointed that we have to disrupt our mission of providing safe homes for our Orang Asli friends, we decided that their long term welfare and health is of top priority.

If you are a registered participant, core team member, participating company, sponsor or community partner involved in the postponed builds, workshops and training. Please be informed that we will be following up Maid This Denver with you and your relevant parties pertaining to the respective events.

We highly encourage all to follow general health guidelines provided by the Health Ministry and to practise good personal hygiene at all times. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We trust that you share our concern for the sake of our fellow builders and community partners. Thank you for your understanding in such extraordinary times while we continue to pursue our mission to build homes and transform lives together.

Note:

  • All builds shall be postponed til May 1st.
  • All Basic Builder Workshops & briefing in March will be postponed.
  • All Basic Builder Workshops in April will proceed, however we will be closely monitoring the situation on a day to day basis.
  • All Core Team Trainings will be conducted digitally or online where possible. In-person modules (practical sessions) will be postponed to a later date.
